Confirmed Speakers

Malcolm Clark is an Emmy nominated science documentary director who campaigns against puberty blockers and gender ideology. Malcolm also runs a substack called ‘The Secret Gender Files‘.

Vaishanvi Sundar is a writer, self-taught filmmaker and a women’s rights campaigner from the South of India. She is currently crowdfunding her feature-length documentary titled ‘Behind The Looking Glass’ – a film about the lives of women whose partners have or want to ‘transition’.

Find out more about Vaishnavi on her website Lime Soda Films.

Dr. Michael Foran: Dr Foran will be discussing the structure of anti-discrimination law in the U.K., how it accommodates competing interests and how this affects the tension between sex based rights and those protected under gender reassignment. Foran’s talk will also cover important legal developments that will be relevant for all pro-feminist men.

Dr Michael Foran received his PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2020, winning the Yorke Prize. He is an expert in equality and anti-discrimination law and has contributed to the public debate around balancing trans rights and women’s rights. For more information on Dr. Foran, please visit his Twitter account.

Discussions about pornography focus on ‘good porn’ as well as ‘sex positivity’ more and more, in effect negating the impact pornography has on the women who perform it, the women and girls who experience a porn-saturated culture every day of their lives and the boys and men who use pornography. As a result pornography is increasingly being sold to younger children as a form of  ‘sex education ‘. The talk will address how we can we talk about the impact pornography has and how we can talk to children about these issues?

Christian is an educator/trainer who specialises in autism. He has a particular interest in gender stereotypes and the negative impact they have on people when they are rigidly enforced and policed on people. He has twenty years’ experience in education and now trains other education professionals and organisations in how to make their environments autism accessible

Hassan was appointed as the Project Manager for the
Challenging Violence Against Women Project run by Community InfoSource in 2016. He and his colleague Peter will talk about the work they do with men as part of this project.

Community InfoSource is a charity formed in Scotland as a not-for-profit community focussed company in 2006. It is run by refugees or people from a refugee background and work for marginalised people including survivors of abuse, persecution, torture and trafficking.

The Challenging Violence Against Women through working with men Project started in 2015 and Hassan was appointed as a Project Manager from February 2016. The team is now composed of five and the project run by 3 Project workers, a one-to-one case worker and the Project Manager.

CVAW works in partnership with men to tackle all sorts of violence against women and girls. Their primary aim is to engage men in this process by raising awareness and work towards equality and empowering both sexes by making them aware of their rights and responsibilities.

Ensuring that everyone has the basic knowledge of their rights and responsibilities is our primary goal. The end result we are looking for is that everyone can lead a dignified life free from violation of human rights

Evan will talk about the value of embodiment through gender-critical politics and deep green philosophy.

He has been a member of the environmentalist group ‘Deep Green Resistance‘ for over two years, and a member of MACS for over a year.

Evan has promoted and supported radical-feminist theory, practice and organising in events and talks in Sheffield and London.

The conference will run from 9am to 5pm on both days.

Testimonials from attendees

“This was my first ever feminist conference and I enjoyed every bit of it and felt very much inspired to do more.”
“Nice to be with a group of like-minded people, that were mainly men. The Bystander Intervention workshop was outstanding.”
“I enjoyed being exposed to explanations of what the problems are without feeling blamed. Understanding of the struggles men may face when trying to be more feminist.”

Our pro-feminist men's conference is organised in solidarity with FiLiA

“If you take radical feminism seriously, it will be a rough ride that never ends. But the payoff is not just that you will contribute to making a better world — your life will get better as well. By rejecting the failed project of trying to be ‘a real man’, we create the possibility — not the guarantee, but the possibility — of a richer, more meaningful life.” Robert Jensen (TED Talk)
