One of the key thoughts behind the engage conference is that we are running the conference on a not for profit basis. Organisers, volunteers and speakers are donating their time to help engage (mainly) in discussions including masculinity, patriarchy and feminism whilst at the same time supporting women’s organisations.
Everyone working on the conference does so in a voluntary capacity. Flyer printing, technology required to host the online conference etc. are all paid for by the organisers.
This means that any income generated through ticket sales, which are on a donation basis, will be donated in its entirety to Women’s Aid and Women for Afghan Women, our chosen charities for 2021.
