To Be Confirmed – MACS volunteers will host a workshop on Anti-feminist myth busting on Saturday.
We will share learnings from debating feminism as a man with other men, but also with women, who may have very different opinions. He will be talking about misrepresentations of feminism and feminists by anti-feminists and those who have simply been misinformed.
Taking a close look at some common logical fallacies, tactics and myth-peddling of those who seem to have a bee in their bonnet about progressing women’s rights, the workshop aims to provide participants with suitable responses for situations in which feminism is discussed.
We invites you to bring a question about or an example of an anti-feminist claim and we’ll see if it can be resolved during the workshop or if not, if that is something that we can research and address at a later point in time.
The event will be hosted by a group of MACS volunteers.
