Today we are pleased to announce a collaboration with ‘No Stage For Abusers‘ as part of our long-standing campaign against abusive men being given a platform to perform.
The campaign joins the efforts of the activist group No Stage For Abusers (Instagram / Facebook) and MACS’ No Abusers On Stage campaign, focusing in particular on Marilyn Manson’s return to UK stages in October and November 2025.
The focus of the campaign is to take direct action to Manson and the UK leg of his tour, by focussing on the venues who are giving him a platform, their owners and the individuals and companies that are supporting Manson in making a comeback.
‘No Stage for Abusers‘ statement:
“We are very happy to be working alongside Male Allies Challenging Sexism.
We have long been in support of their No Abusers On Stage campaign and are excited to help put more focus on the issue.
We feel it is disgraceful that so many men in the music industry are given a free pass to perform in the UK despite having a history of abuse. We both feel very strongly about the upcoming Marilyn Manson tour and between us hope to give this topic more of a spotlight and hold those supporting and promoting Manson’s upcoming tour accountable.”
MACS statement:
“We’re really excited about this collaboration. By joining forces with a group of likeminded activists, we will be able to leverage more support for the aims of our broader No Abusers on Stage campaign.
Focusing on Marilyn Manson specifically will mean that we can work in a more targeted way and hopefully achieve more ambitious goals, including starting a discussion across the UK about why abusive men like Manson continue to have support, gain acclaim and enjoy fame – not just in the UK, but worldwide.”
