16 Days of Action to to End Male Violence Against Women & Girls
December is usually a pretty quiet month in terms of events, but like every year we completed our remaining 10 actions for the 16 Days of Action. You can find a full list of the actions we proposed and took during this period here.
This year, we were very pleased to take part in other organisations’ activism during this period. We particularly engaged with the myth-busting by the Institute for Addressing Strangulation (IFAS) as well as ensuring we completed as many actions as possible proposed by Sisters Salon Brighton’s #RespectWomen campaign. It took us a while, but by week two of 2025, we had finally managed.
Discussion Group
On 30 December we discussed the chapter ‘Defining Sex/Gender: Beyond Trans Ideology’, which was dropped from Robert Jensen’s last book ‘It’s Debatable: Talking Authentically about Tricky Topics‘. You can read our discussion here.
